I have just returned from a journey of many miles in the North, but this picture was taken while my sister was visiting before we went North for Mindy's wedding. We went kayaking in the evening and saw at least 30 dolphins some within 10 feet of our kayaks. It was beautiful!

Yes it is Folly Beach near the county park end of the island....
I moved to this area of South Carolina a little over two years ago from Central Illinois and I love it here, especially during the winter! I'm living in North Charleston now.
Oh and I love the palmettos here :)

I am envious of your snorkeling and diving so I am glad that our dolphin sightings have put a twinge of jealousy in you too. You can come anytime to see us and we will take you kayaking. This beach is about 45 minutes from our house.
