Up but not down
When I painted the living room a month ago, I foolishly taught Kina to climb the ladder. Siamese cats are supposed to like being up high and hs e does like to hang out on the mantle when she can get there. Although this picture seems to make it seem like she did, she did not like coming down the ladder, so when she wanted to come down, she would cry.

My parents cat Yuki had to go up the stairs to my parent's bed in their motorhome. She is a very uncoordinated cat and she basically would hug each rung on the ladder and scoot her hind quarters up to the same rung and repeat. Going down she would make it half way and then bail out onto the kitchen counter. Mobius hasn't experienced ladders yet, but she is quite fond of the stairs, often leaping off of them in chase of a paper ball only to crash and bang her head into the wall on the landing. But the paperball always looses!
